  1. Now the Americans just need to discover and appreciate dry cider. Even Strongbow turned their product sickly sweet here.

  2.  Benjamin Snell  Strongbow switched over a few years ago so you may have got the old stuff. Strongbow was not my favorite cider by any means but dry ciders are in short supply in the US (now even moreso). Bear in mind that a typical night out drinking in the UK could be easily 5-7 UK pints (20oz) and sometimes more and you can see that you wouldn't want something too sweet.
