  1. Given the way studies work, it's not surprising that people are skeptical and look at the meta. Even with the skin cream, how many studies did the company quietly suppress before the one that gave the results they wanted? If you had presented results that showed the sky was orange, would the people who express doubt it be wrong or are you just asking for an unreasonable level of abstraction?
