  5. The top 10 had always been mostly full of junk. This is something my parents told me 30+ years ago and it's still true today. Add in survivor bias and that the music we hear in our formative years takes on special significance and here we are. Welcome to getting older, ladies and gents. Now, bring on the "every one is golden" top 10 lists to refute me. I'd actually love to read them (I know there will be a few)..
