@OPINION27743beta Yeah, Asmongold won't be so happy if Chipotle near him closes because it can't afford to operate anymore. Fortunately for him, he lives in Texas so he's a bit insulated from the consequences of such stupid policies.

@nickthompson6466 To be fair, after the last four years, millionaire is nowhere as rich as it used to be.

@anthonyfournier1731 All those things stem from easy government money. Get the government out and make any loans be normal loans and they'd mostly only be given to people who are going to enter careers that will let them pay them back.

We get a president that's actually good for the economy instead of the shambling corpse from before and the richest people, who are primarily invested in the economy have their wealth increased? Color me shocked. What a rube. We got lucky the DNC shanked this guy in the back.

Bernie could have fought in 2016 and instead, buckled under for whatever rea$on and so lost all relevancy. Which is probably good because he would have been a disaster. But the two are not unlinked.

@malmstring Yep. He identifies real problems then advocates the most obviously knee jerk, ultimately infeasible, potentially disastrous responses to them. Whatever the problem, the answer is Marxism.

@Bruce-kx5ku And to be clear, he could easily become not-a-millionaire but chooses not to.

@snally6111 When your supporters are rallying behind you to fight the entrenched powers and then you go and stand with the entrenched powers and endorse them, do you not see how that might be a problem for the people that were supporting you? (I was never a supporter myself though).

@IWearShaqs LOL. Average Redditor take.

@codywalker3747 Having principles is a foreign concept to people like you, isn't it?

@Logan-op9xz Thing is, he got behind Hillary. I think that was cozying up to the enemy a bit too much for many. He totally cucked and that's never a good look for someone who's looking to be a leader. Especially at his age where a redemption arc is unlikely. He's cooked.

@ I'd be fine with the first step being that government stop preventing the loans being discharged through bankruptcy. The problem is, the loans encourage colleges to offer shitty degrees and increase their tuition fees (the data on how they've increased is out there and is shocking) and leads to qualification inflation for jobs. It's also devastated vocational training. If the loans are just loans, most of that goes away. I'm not even that fussed if there's some direct government assistance in there, especially if it's properly targeted (which it won't be).

@ Higher ed in the UK was free when I did it. It's not now. And Labour did nothing to reverse the situation like they promised they would. Young people are perpetual suckers to the left.

Trump talked about prices being too high. I know you watched the stream because you talked (correctly) about how it would be hard to get prices down and wages would have to rise.
