  2. Although a couple of those stores didn't seem to have a huge amount of crime, they may be calculating that if they close the worst stores, the thieves will just switch over to the other stores. Also, they may be marginal on profitability to begin with. It seems sometimes stores are just kept open for brand reasons.

  6.  @bobfg3130  I know what he means. But it can be taken as a dual-edged sword. And timeliness requirement depends on the job. Unless you're happy with your pilots rolling in 150 minutes after everyone has boarded.

  11.  @bobfg3130  I actually agree with you that wage theft as you've described it is heinous and should be stopped. What a shame that you being an ass blunted your message. As to Louis' employee, you don't know what his job is so you're not qualified to make comments on whether his timeliness is relevant (most employees consider it somewhat important). Nor am I come to that. But Louis seems a bit upset and he's signing the paycheck.
