From Linus past behavior, he seems to try to wing it to transfer blame when the spotlight is on him. I assume someone had to sit him down and have a good talk with him when all that stuff with Gamers' Nexus went down.

Louis, I'm on your side in this but one question I have is whether Linus' response about the damage to the Mac could have been more as a response to your accusation of nickel and diming. Not so much to convince you to go but more as a defense. I haven't watched this video yet so maybe you address it. This wasn't the impression I got from your previous video but having read some more, it seems like this could be a possible scenario that could maybe soften the view of what Linus wrote a little. Not that I'm accusing you of misrepresenting him, it's just that often in these situations, it's more that someone gets the wrong end of the stick and it gets out of control from there. (I do think that Linus' previous behaviors leans toward your interpretation being more likely correct).

@ To be fair to Linus for a split second, there's circumstantial evidence other creators knew as they dropped Honey but they didn't speak up about it anywhere so there's nothing for sure. That's a risky strategy if it ever slips out that they did know as that's exactly what has happened with Linus.

@rossmanngroup Thanks Louis. I thought things would be that way. Just throwing a potential option out there. I typically only watch his channel when it looks like the subject is something I have an interest in and I've seen him take jabs at employees in their own homes. It doesn't seem like he has much class.

@ But I think most people would be sympathetic about a business having money stolen from it by another business using dishonest practices. And he would have been protecting other smaller businesses too who need the affiliate income much more. I honestly thought it was going to be about the risk of lawsuits from Honey which is somewhat understandable, if cowardly. The excuse he's actually giving is weaksauce.
