Here's where I see the issue: Refurbishing screens, fine. Refurbishing screens and leaving the apple logo on existing parts, fine. Refurbishing the screen and adding the logo to non-Apple authorized parts, starts to get shaky. Personally, I'd have no problem losing a logo (hate em anyway) but that's like 75% of buying Apple in the first place. I agree with others that right to repair (the concept, not the bill) is definitely free market. The trick comes when companies pull stunts like bricking devices with aftermarket parts. (Though doing that after the fact should be counted as destroying property not theirs but it becomes trickier when DRM is built in day 0). OTOH, if you act like sheep, you're going to get shorn.
