  2. If creators make it easy for me to support them directly, I'll consider doing so. If they don't, that's on them. Best options are Paypal (where you can send money as a friend for free) or crypto.

  3.  @justsomeguy5470  Merchandise is good if you want it. If you don't, give them money direct (if you can) and buy a mug from dollar tree. I'm not really interested in most YouTubers merch though LTT is doing some interesting stuff with their screwdriver and backpack (Both a bit too pricey for me but not bad in concept).

  4. The "Piracy" thing is just name calling. I don't care. We used to swap cassette tapes full of music or games in the playground. I do throw some money to content creators every now and then, especially if they have a bitcoin address, sometimes Paypal. Superchats, I'd have to have something I really wanted to say cause 30% to Google is bullshit.

  7. I used Smarttube next on the TV but my son often ends up clicking on YouTube recommendations and the ads are definitely too many and often inappropriate.

  8.  @jordanrelkey  Smarttube next and Brave have options to skip promotional segments (if someone has flagged them). Brave has integrated a plugin that's also available for Chrome based browsers (SponsorBlock)
