  2. Devil's advocate here, is it possible new threads are just hidden for a while to allow moderators a chance to review them? If it's a legit shadow ban, that's pretty pernicious.

  3.  @8BitShadow  That sucks. I hate having to google youtube ids to find what video was removed. In the recent case, it was two videos that were technical information about transistors and I was able to track them down on another site. You might want to check out youtube-dl which allows you to download videos and even whole playlists. I suspect it may allow you to retrieve playlist info too.
