@joeroselli9867 There's a video out there of a guy who does teardown evaluations for the big motor cos and he tears down a Tesla. Apparently, they're behind the majors in a lot of quite important ways (or were at the time of the video). Not especially well engineered. That and watching Rich Rebuilds means I've decided I'm definitely waiting.

@venge1894 I believe reverse cameras got mandated because some kids got run over wandering behind running cars. Though there's probably some corruption and kickback behind the actual legislation. Tesla uses them for some of its automated driving features, of course. My car doesn't have one and I don't miss it but some people aren't good at reversing and some people have mobility issues.
