  2. It would drive me nuts. This is a place to sleep and little more. It's not claustrophobia because I have no problem with small spaces. You just have to have space to breathe where you live (my opinion, obvs)

  3. You can get small-format washing machines. I had one that was a bit under half the width of a typical European machine. It had the drum mounted sideways and a lot shorter and had flap-style doors in the side of the drum. Being able to wash your clothes in your own home is very beneficial.
