  2. Dishwashers should just have a tank you fill up once per month and dispense as needed. Or maybe you'd buy a replaceable tank in-store and replace it when needed. Like printer cartridges (but hopefully without the cost). Hmm, this might work as an aftermarket mod.

  4. Hmm Interesting with the blocking the dispenser. I sometimes put a large baking sheet at the front of the washer. The door is a slider rather than a flipper so I don't believe the door is being blocked but it could be stopping the pod from dropping out or at least being sprayed by water. I used to put it at the back but it turned out that would often block the sprayer arm (which I think it still does at the front sometimes if I'm not careful.
