  1. I have a microwave/convection oven. You can only use one at a time but it's very handy. It's basically decently large microwave sized but not everything needs a full sized oven (which I have as well). It's the Sharp Carousel and it's been cranking along for nearly two decades now.

  2. The microwave my mother bought in the 80s could take multi-stage programming so you could defrost and then cook, for example.

  3. There's no reason for programming not to be in QR codes on the food boxes these days. The microwave could even automatically adjust for different power levels. Just scan, throw it in and hit start.

  4. I could swear I saw a mug-sized oven in the UK but haven't been able to track it down (I think it was actually aimed towards heating beans). Edit: apparently it's called the Beanzawave.
