  1. Anyone know what it would take to trigger these artificially? I have a security light it would be nice to have stuck on occasionally.

  2.  @_..-.._..-.._  That's exactly what I'm thinking. One or two IR LEDs that would 'flash' in an appropriate way to keep the thing triggered. I'll probably just replace my security light with one with a remote control though.
