  5.  2010realitycheck  The 2nd amendment was put in place to avoid establishing a standing army as well as providing protection from hostile natives and shooting game. The phrase "a well regulated militia" is ignored by the '2nd amendment people' who believe they should have access to any weapon ever made or developed. This is the major sticking point of the whole issue of gun control in the U.S. BTW, over here watch your back implies being an accomplice to someone's actions, not merely being amenable to someone's personal choices.
