Once or twice before losing interest completely.

@samdebord8243 Despite the endless comments about how "easy this is to do", how "I did the exact same thing as a child", "I'm going to make my kid paint like that"; you know none of that is true. Modern art, like any other, is a disipline not all can master. Being able to express one's feelings through art and communicate those feelings to the viewer is what makes the difference between really good art and dreck.

@ericohm9474 I collect art; both realism and abstract modernism. I see plenty of talent in her work.

@joel6563 Her handling of the medium. Few adults can approach the execution of their work in such an audacious and confident manner. The balance and massing of the colors is sophisticated, despite what appears to her nay sayers as random or totally haphazard application. Her ability to consciously create her work is apparent in the finished result and there is a consistent level in her production that belies the method. Critiques of the work of the founders of the Modern Art movement routinely deridedthem as being "something that a child of 6 might do". Picasso is quoted as saying "It took me four years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child." This comment section is rife with the worthless opinions of the truly ignorant and socially naive. A real display of stupidity and failed humor. Art appreciation requires looking at and studying as much as possible and of the greatest variety of art. Read Janson's History of Art for starters. It has been the primary study source of students for decades. Then study the history of individual Modern artists you find interesting. The more you learn the more your curiosity will grow.

@lebro4401 So putting words in my mouth is your rebuttal to my comment...not very convincing. If you're not involved in the creative process yourself, watching an expert perform his/her craft makes it looks deceptively simple. Give it a try. Repeat it 50 times, then tell me how easy it was to do.

@joel6563 I'm not teaching an art appreciation class in the comment section. If you don't already have an interest in art and aren't familiar with its basic concepts, then I can't explain to your satisfaction what you don't recognize in her work.

@lebro4401 I can't look at the whole image at one time. Nice color and form but I really cant tell from what I can see.

@joel6563 Your flippant attitude betrays your obvious inability to excel at placing plastic dinosaurs with any regard for sophisticated composition or to expertly realize the ironic with such a level of intellectual relevance.

@a_coloradan8689 She looked she was very aware of what she was doing. Did you expect her to approach her work with a pensive and deliberate mien?
