  1.  @gregsmith5134  He himself would say that he was no genius, but to say he wasn't brilliant is puerile naiveté. Hitchens was one of THE premier intellects of the late 20th century. Condemning his lifestyle is presumptuous. Everyone dies. The only thing that can be faulted with how he chose to enjoy his existence here on earth was that the world is now prematurely deprived of his insight and eloquence.
