  1. Stephenie Bowen This is absurd. The sale of holy relics was a brisk business in the middle ages. How many heads of John the Baptist are in churches across Europe? Obviously no one would know who this woman was or if Mary Magdalene even existed.

  3.  @duran3d  That ended when Christianity was made the state religion and the infighting among the 6-7 sects vying for domination. As far as the DNA, it scarcely goes beyond racial identification.
