  2. "LGBT" and "homosexual" are inappropriate terms for any discussion of sexuality in ancient times.

  3.  @nunyabusiness8000  Heterosexual is also a misleading and inappropriate term to describe male sexual activity in ancient times. I think a better identification would be procreative & non-procreative sex. There were pairings that were considered inappropriate but the nature of the activity itself was never in question.

  4.  @akumayoxiruma  These are not "timeless" nor are they scientific. These are 19th century terms coined during the rise of the burgeoning practice of psychoanalysis. There was no conscientious self identified differentiation of sexuality in ancient times.

  5.  @akumayoxiruma  It was hardly described at the time. Sexuality was considered a natural part of everyday life like eating or sleeping. As such it was unquestioned. Prohibitions on sexuality were confined to Judaism and philosophies far out of the mainstream of social norms of behavior.
