  1. McGahn is a private citizen. Executive privilege does not extend beyond government employees. Trump already waived executive privilege when McGahn was interviewed by Mueller. Trump doesn't have a leg to stand on in court. The obstruction of justice continues.

  2.  J P  Anyone can plead the 5th amendment. McGahn has already given 30 hours of testimony to Mueller, though. McGahn has no issue with the subpoena, it's the White House that is trying to stop him from speaking in public. Trump and Barr are trying to control the narrative of the results of the investigation but will have their lies exposed if they can't stop Congress from going forward with their hearings.
