@michaelizquierdo6907 That's correct. The House doesn't determine the Rules of the trial in the Senate. By the same token, the Executive branch does not determine how the Senate trial will proceed either. A rigged trial in a kangaroo court is not what the Founders envisioned when they established impeachment as a way of removing an unfit or criminal Executive. No one is playing by the rules in the Trump era. Some intentionally, others because they have no choice if the government is going to retain some semblance of functionality. TY😃

@michaelizquierdo6907 The trial has not yet taken place. Your inane criticism of the House Intelligence committee investigation into the Trump bribery scandal shows that you are more interested in promoting the Republican disinformation campaign over being informed of the actual process laid down in the Constitution, the House rules governing that process and the gross deflection being perpetrated in an attemp to derail that process. Your argument is irrelevant to what has taken place in the impeachment process so far. BTW, the powers granted the House of Representatives in the impeachment process are Constitutionally guaranteed and are not subject to judicial review by any court, including the SCOTUS.
