We didn't hear about any other payday donations after that. He claimed he was going to donate $1 million to the hurricane victims. Never happened. Trump is a lying scumbag but he's done a good job of convincing people he's not a lying asshole.

Yes it's a law the President is required to take his pay and fact checking came up with nothing more than a press release with a breakdown of the amounts and names of the charities receiving the money. I remember seeing that list come out when no one saw a check being cut. That was just a diversion to get the reporters off his back. The money has never been paid out. Trump is a greedy lying phony POS.

  10. Dylan Walsh Yes, the groups received money after reports that Trump had not been forthcoming were widely circulated. No confirmation that the money was from Trump himself. Money WAS paid out from his inaugural fund which had $10s of millions left unspent. He pledged $1 million to the victims of hurricane Sandy which was never paid out. His Trump Foundation is under investigation by the state's AG for fraud. Likewise, The Eric Trump Foundation is under investigation for transferring money to the Trump Organization. Trump has been trying to shut down the foundation, which has never had the proper legal paperwork filed. It must wait until the investigation is finished before it can legally dissolve. Trump has not put any of his own money into his foundation for 8 years. Presidential pay requirements were established by Congress in 1789. The President is required to take his pay.

You obviously have no interest in knowing about Trump's personal history of malfeasance and extra legal business dealings that are at the heart of the investigations that are now resulting in arrests and indictments. Don't be surprised when Mueller finally turns his attention to Trump himself. You will then see your hero as the little man he really is.
