  3. SkyTech RTS No. The are both sandwiches. Burgers are referred to as 'hamburger sandwich' in older 20th century cookbooks. Being on a bun doesn't make something not a sandwich.

  4. Chardee McDennis That's pretty nebulous. Why wouldn't you specify what kind of sandwich when putting in the order? That's like every guy in every movie that goes into a bar and orders "a beer". That doesn't happen in real life.

  5. Chardee McDennis Yes. In real life hotdogs are almost never sold anywhere but a specialised restaurant ie. hotdog stand. Hamburgers haven't been called sandwiches since WWII and then only on menus or in cookbooks. Arby's is the only chain restaurant that makes their roast beef sandwiches on a bun and their "sandwich menu" is all on sliced bread. It's all pretty segregated now.
