Bravo Jane! The only distance between us philosophically is that I don't believe the election will make any difference so what's the point of waiting around? A national general strike now as the time is ripe in so many ways is indicated. It is our civic duty as Citizens, under the Constitution, to declare the clear and present Danger of fascism, we have all been afflicted by... as it is historically proven truth, in the words of someone that I admire... No government is going to admit it's fascist. The most peaceful way to do this is without any Street protesting and we simply schedule a national strike at home in our dwellings, along with a buyers strike

Maybe Jane Fonda would like to be the celebrity responsible for the movement to schedule a general National strike at home. It's not as adventurous or glamorous but it's a lot less risky to just stay in our home dwellings for whatever number of weeks it takes to activate the military to deliver us a peaceful coup and military tribunals to end fascism, peacefully, possibly along with the global warming trend. @theraven5935 peace is the first objective. I am calling for a peaceful way out of this fascist mess. Street protesting is a useless remnant of the days before the internet. The time is calling for us to use our brains not our brawn. All that people would have to do is load up in advance on supplies and then after the date of the strike, plan on not buying anything or going anywhere. If a majority of the country does this do you not think that it would be noticed? It is the Constitutional Duty all of our military ranks who stand for us supposedly... To deliver us freedom from a clearly fascist government. people need to wake up and realize this and then it's just a matter of how we send the signal. Street protesting and or armed uprisings are exactly what the fascists are rubbing their hands together and hoping will happen. So they can impose martial law. Like the Philippines. Or worse.
