My favorite part of their bullshit argument is that none of them discuss the fact that with the wealthy and their corporations able to control the amount and timing of their tax liabilities through deductions, that the working class would end up paying a larger percentage of the taxes because wages would go up to avoid the high tax rates, new hires would be made for sales and marketing as well as R&D, loans with high interest would be taken out for capital investments and new plants would be built and more workers hired to internalize the gains from what would otherwise be money lost to tax expenses. Those high tax rates of the past were why there were raises and why there was investment on Main Street.
