  2. The problem is that those young people never had the benefit of the socialization and mental hardening that came from having to live "outside." Not having that freedom and experimentation that came from "outside" because they live their lives entirely on a screen caused them severe deficiencies. It wasn't the pandemic it was the Internet. There is a reason that Gates, Jobs, and even we are told Zuckerberg would not allow their children online that has nothing whatsoever to do with personal safety or security of their families. Any parent that allows their children to be online, or socialize with friends via online video games rather than in person relationships is doing their children a disservice. The third/fourth generation of suburbia is causing serious problems. People are meant to live a significant portion of their day inside a community.
