  1. Hmm, in 4 weeks I had a cousin turn $1k into $5k trading options. It wasn't risk free, but he IDed a trading range, an overall market trend, and an options arbitrage that worked out very well for him on the options for 3 stocks. It isn't something you do everyday, it takes observation & some effort, but he has been able to spot about 5 of these opportunities a year. He uses them to get down payments for rental real estate investments.
