Which I would encourage you to read because you are likely entitled to a foreign tax credit on your Canadian taxes for foreign taxes paid. The US-Canada Double Tax Treaty makes it clear that US income taxes which his bill effects are covered subject matter of the treaty maximum withholding rates.
