  2. If Lake Placid, New York isn't on the list, it should be, a small town that has hosted two Olympics must be doing something right. I mean speaking of John Brown, as you mentioned Harper's Ferry, John Brown's Farm and Gravesite is just outside of town behind the Olympic Ski Jumps. Lots of things to do on Main Street and the Herb Brooks Arena is the site of the Miracle on Ice... So... I highly recommend the first two weekends of October as the leaves in the Adirondacks are a great site to see as well.

  3. I mean Cheyenne the biggest city in the state is smaller than the rural county seat in most of the Adirondack mountain counties of NY & there are hardly any people in that area.

As a former public defender in Ellicotville, the crime rate was typically Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a motor vehicle for people who failed to pay fines, or had a DWI, a fair number of DWIs, the occasional harassment or simple assault charge from a bar fight, every once in a while there would be burglary typically drug seeking related usually of a seasonal camp, and back in the day a fair number of unlawful possession of marijuana charges, but that is not enforced the same way anymore, so...

  5. The summer I lived in Wilmington UB40 played The Ice House. I also saw Ali Larter walking down the street before she was famous that summer. It is a lovely town.

  7.  @kevinwinters5426  when the biggest city has I think 4 exits on the Interstate if I remember correctly it's going to be hard to find a town that isn't small in the state.

  8. I have not watched, but my guess would be NY, NJ, FL, CA, with some random state like RI or NE having an unusually large population for some obscure reason.

  9. I guess my Jewish friend in college from MO gave me too much faith that a random Midwestern or Plains state would make the list, but I think Delaware is basically Rhode Island and I should have known about Maryland's Jewish community I had a TA turned professor in film school from Germantown.
