  1. Right now, today, and these changes in the law are a very good reason for small business owners to convert to worker owned cooperatives. Worker owners are self employed and not subject to most of these regulations pertaining to worker minimums. Petit Bourgeoisie on the other hand are very much subject to a requirement to pay sick leave and other special payments to workers in their employ.
