I'm with you if the giant capitalist businesses are so thinly capitalized that they can't weather a few bad months they deserve to face bankruptcy. If a small service based business that has small margins almost no owned physical assets and which has been built from profits over time doesn't have liquid capital assets to keep the entire staff or even any of the staff on during a massive downturn, that is far more forgivable. The problem is the thinly capitalized giants getting bailed out while the small to medium sized businesses get fucked. The small to medium sized businesses employ most of the people and fuel most of the economy. The ever growing consolidation of profits and wealth into a smaller and smaller cadre of economic elites atrophies the entire economy and hollows it out so that it does not remain robust.
