  1. The dollar is going to lose its reserve currency status. The EU is replacing the Swift settlement system. The BRICS are encouraging trade in BRICS currencies and an alternative to the IMF from the BRICS. The only thing saving the dollar at the moment is the Saudis pricing oil in dollars and buying those Russian and Chinese bonds that were sold. If the Saudis dump US treasuries and cut a deal with either the EU or China to price oil in Euros or Yuan, the dollar won’t be worth a nickel.
