I am a tad concerned by how much Vivek uses the phrase "advancing American interests" because the term "interests" is quite vague and has been used many times in the past to justify interfering in the politics of foreign countries which is something I won't support. It sounds a lot like a political weasel word, technically "advancing American interests" could mean invading a country to steal their natural resources, or installing a puppet dictator. I kind of doubt this is what Vivek has in mind when he uses that phrase but I'd like some clarification.
