  1. This reminds me of how critical theory , CRT etc corrupted large swaths of academia. Like the architectural modernists todays CT people believe they are the bees knees. Where in reality they are destroying the fabric of society. Just like inhumane buildings full of fungus, damp and draft , post war concrete social housing. When I look at these structures from the 70s , it baffles me how these people ever sincerely thought that living in a concrete building and box is somehow an improvement. And architects , at least in Europe are supposedly intelligent. But they actually built buildings which destroyed our cultural cityscape . They dumbed as down . Like the soulless architecture in developing countries.

  2. I would like to point out that there are many thriving architecture companies in the USA and UK who do well. In the USA especially there are many firms who not only build institutional but also houses and villas . They markets around New England, Chicago, Nashville and Los Angeles are big. But even in the prairies wealthy owners build traditional farms from Montana to Texas to New Mexico. It is a fascinating scene.
