@PopsRacer61 That is what you said. I am saying Poor Whites in the USA do not display such violence. Poor Asians don't display such violence. It is US black culture which displays such violence. White music doesn't celebrate misogyny, drugs, guns , crime and vulgar riches. So it isn't monocausal but a combination of poverty and culture in the widest sense. Many blacks are so far removed from social main stream they have developed a separate language. Also US blacks actively celebrate "their culture" although it obviously doesn't lead them anywhere better. Putting this down to economics solely would either be ignorant or hard leftist thinking. But those two are part of the same coin. There are also plenty of instances, even on YouTube, where you see violent blacks who aren not poor acting out a complete lack of impulse control and lethal violence over petty reasons. That is *culture", just like a rich Arab would turn to violence for reasons of honor (honor-shame cult) . Europe is full of Muslims with very low impulse control who act out a culture of honor-shame, even killing their daughters/sisters over "family honor". Poverty doesn't come into it. It is culture.

@PopsRacer61 Economics is certainly part of crime, but that does not expalin the unhinged and nihilistic violence lived out by too many black Americans. At this stage urban blacks are living in a self perpetuating spiral of violence fed by a primitive Honor-shame culture in conjunction with very low levels of education or no education at all. Many of these people have regressed back to a primitive existence. The numbers of dead in such small areas are proof of a culture which transcends poverty. What you have in Ukraine is a war, which is not civil criminal behaviour like we see in Baltimore or Chicago. You are conflating ghetto thugs with state sponsored violence which is not the same. And since we are talking violence, do look at modern day Jamaica and the various African wars going on at any one time today.

@PopsRacer61 I think it is more complex than reducing black US violence to "economics", as many blacks have evolved into honor-shame culture, mixed with no education, black nationalism and are being supported in their ways by a regressive leftist political class. There is also plenty of proof that blacks have a (violent) racism/antisemitism problem . They way some black music normalisis violence and sexism turns this dynamic into something uniquely black American. Also the destructive drug culture plays its part. The fact that the new left is lowering academic standards in school and University for low IQ blacks also further enables sub par representation of blacks. We also have a normalised anti intellectual movement within many urban blacks mixed in with black nationalism. All in all a vicious circle where those involved loose.

Many US blacks are unemployable in a knowledge based economy . If I followed your simple logic and turned that arounbd on you violent uneducated blacks should be neutralised asap. Or after three felonies. Looters should be neutralised on site. But sadly your logic only seems to work one way, and that is to make excuses for homocidal behaviour. But you are repeating what the likes of BLM say. You play the victim card which is what nearly every lefty does and people like Sharpton, Crump, BLM, Marc Lamont Hill etc. But the economic reality is that the victim card pays very well, Al Sharpton wears bespoke suits and flies around the country in a private jet. Obama has multiple million Dollar homes. Ilhan Omar pays her husband nearly one million Dollars in PR consultant fees. Maxine Waters is a millionaire. The Democrats give poor people billions every year through NGOs, consultants, after school programs, neighbourhood programs etc. Every one is making a good living. But you always need a few killers shooting babies to enable more billions at the next budget. Dead blacks generate an entire industry, they are worth their weight in gold.

" which was mailed to me. The author is Michael Shellenberger. Your Economics stick is like the "racism" spiel by many blacks. No one buys it. Glenn Loury and John McWhorter have some excellent podcasts where they talk about obscurantists like you. Plenty of data shows you are wrong. I trust Professor Loury and Professor McWhorter more than your "economics". Where I would agree with you , is that the economics of instrumentalising black misery is very profitable ( Democrats ). You can get very rich and famous and powerful through this economic model.
