@aqibpeer7451 Sure, bad teachers can influence the children negatively. But, most kids to grow up to be assholes, are NOT "taught to be assholes" by the teachers. In fact, it's the parents who have more contribution in that matter, either by what they teach, or what they fail to teach or correct.
Blaming the teachers is an easy way to blame the unknown, so parents can overlook their own failures.
And contrary to what you said, zombies also have purpose and direction - eat brains or flesh, etc., etc. Depends on the fantasy model you're looking at - just like religion.
There is actually no "Religion" as a whole that is widely spread. Even the biggest religions barely have a quarter of humans convinced lol - and most of the "biggest religions" only became "so big and popular" because of the expansionist ideology written into their books/code. For example, Islam and Christianity -> people didn't come crawling on their knees to be taught these religions - most of the people who follow these religions today - had the religion forced upon their ancestors by invaders. While those same invaders forcefully destroyed to their best capacity, the traces of the previous religions followed by those ancestors.
There's a whole history of brutality and imposition. But obviously, it's not that evident from the preachers of today -because that behavior doesn't fly in the public opinion that easily anymore, fortunately.
