  1. Does the pipe work like the copper coils around the magnet inside an electric motor, most likely. Which creates changing electro-magnetic field as it moves through the pipe, im not sure whether i got it..

  2. i guess both the magnetic fields push against each other, causing the repulsion to reduce its falling speed. Need to try it out sometime.
