A metaphor would be valid if he was making comparisons, using something not directly related. You should refresh your understanding of what a metaphor/hyperbole is. A metaphor would be something like "Every second step on the Social media landscape is like stepping on a radioactive garbage dump with bare feet." And not an actual, direct "X is Y" statement. If I said "Jordan Peterson is a psychological grifter", there's no hyperbole, no Metaphor. Because it is an "X is Y" claim. Not a figure of speech.

  4.  @tnmtnmorning1178  Ironically, too, JP calls social media "psychological pollution", while literally spreading watered down ways of "understanding" the world, turning non issues (gender identity preferences of about 0.5% of the population, a bunch of other incely, mgtow type shit) AKA spreading psychological pollution.
