Владислав Колосов If you wanna claim territory which WAS LOST in the PAST, then maybe EVERYONE should start fighting again to claim the territory, then EVERYONE has justification to start a War, lol.
You really want me to talk about Russian "history", then Let's talk about what stalin did to ukraine/"russians", too.
You also do realise that you are thinking of wars and political borders, as something that actually means anything, lol. It's just like religion, and how people die bravely, but still like idiots for it, when they don't even realise, that at some point in history, their ancestors WERE ALSO FORCED TO FOLLOW THOSE THINGS, and now just because it's been a few generations you feel like you can ignore that bit, and cherry pick the parts which you want to go in and fight for? That, sir, is wrong. =) Also, don't mind my abusing, it's routine :*

Владислав Колосов ""imagined communities", which essentially stated that the nations are mostly in our imagination." Yes, That is EXACTLY how it is. The countries ARE imagined borders.
So is the "crimean russians" Feeling Russian and the ukrainians feeling ukrainian. How Can you Feel Russian and think it makes sense, when RUSSIA itself, IS IMAGINARY????
They could all just live in peace, and be like "Ok that's in the past, let's not kill more people over land and 'nationalism', yeah."
But yeah fuck everyone else living there, we just wanna be back with
"russia", the imaginary state.
Just because I believe in Jesus, doesn't make him real, Just because I believe that Putin wanted to get the russians back into russia, Doesn't make it so.
Again, It's not justified, just because a group of people who have some identity crisis, who leeched off ukraine for all this time, flocked like sheep to putin the instant he invaded, lol. Otherwise EVERYTHING is justified, because SOMEONE SOMEWHERE, "BELIEVES" that it is.
That's not how the real world works.
