I just love your videos. You are really very good at it. Packed with info, anecdotes. William Gaddis has a novel called Carpenter's Gothic it's just wonderful to see it in context.

Another great video. What an awesome road trip.

A fair point but which State should take it over. Texas or Florida. I think the government of California is of the same mindset as Oakland so that wouldn't change much.

What a really nice place. I was beginning to despair, there has been some pretty grim towns and statistics along the way. I love the way you show the old theatres, my favourite was in Abilene and if memory serves me there was a great gig on, was it Lyle Lovett. I love the channel and your presentation.

Great video. As soon as you mention the house for sale the price pops up in the comments. The comments section is a decent place. You have real nice followers.

You make a great point. These travel channels open the world to us. This one is absolutely brilliant, so down to earth. I watch a Russian one, Baklykov Live and I have seen places I could never get to myself.

Really good video. A lovely looking historical city. Great architecture but a pity about the crime. The capital building was impressive.

Fantastic. Your videos are so interesting.

Another really enjoyable video. You sure are putting in the miles. BTW thanks for the Celsius number that fahrenheit is incomprehensible to me.

The videos are great and I love it when they coincide with American novels I am reading. At the moment it's The Son by Philip Meyer an epic generational tale set in Texas. A great read.

Just stumbled across your channel a few days ago, it's fascinating. I really loved the video on Abilene, the old theatre was magnificent and I'd have loved to see the Lyle Lovett concert there. That would have been something. Good luck with the name change.

A great video. I have been to South Africa and have seen enormous shanty towns outside the large cities but I have never seen anything like this. There is a desperation here.
