I thought i had done a pretty crazy job restoring the original wooden LÉVIS train station sign, white paint with the beveled corners painted black and the original black paint lettering (took me 2 months, with a teeny tiny paintbrush so as not to alter the original hand-painted shape of the letters) - you can see a similar sign on Jasper's station still, and they used to be all over Canada... The Lévis one i recuperated when the station closed in 1998, and after restoring it, i screwed it on top of the wall in my studio in Lévis. But the whale skeleton??? That another level. Captain Dave is really a badass!!! 👍

  2. Man, did you know there was no BERTHS on the Canadian all through COVID? Well, i guess you found out on your trip eh! I tried booking one from Winnipeg to Toronto for June and when i didn't see the options on the website, i started freaking out and had to email Via!! Cuz to me, the Canadian experience has got to be from the lower berth. Fortunately, they are bringing them back April 1st!! Can't wait to see the Québec épisode, man. Hope you had sone real poutine, and you took MY ferry! (Lévis-Québec) ❤
