Dial up speeds for everyone, that's government's idea of fair . Wait till it takes 4 hours to download a movie.

Budokid The free market works, fairness doled out by government is a myth. obamacare is a prime example , less service , greater cost, and a growing bureaucracy. There really is no issue except government grabbing power.

Budokid So the answer is a board of 5 unelected bureaucrats decide who gets what ? Your answer to an oligopoly is an oligarchy ? I don't even think there is Constitutional Authority for bureaucracy . If there is an issue then Congress should address it with LAW.

Budokid In this Post Constitutional America you can see the direction it's going and to allow bureaucracies to pass down regulations with the power of law and no review is reckless and tyranny. If they have the power to make law for the good they also will destroy the bill of rights . I agree the Internet is a complicated issue but controlling it with an unelected body is just as bad as letting the highest bidder own it. Congress itself may not be able to keep up BUT they should review recommendations and pass law if anything is to be done. America is finished unless we can keep our Constitution as the Supreme law of the land. Committees and do gooders will impose their will on everyone and everything, for the good of the people of course.

whoknows6806 "You can keep your policy if you like it , You can keep you doctor if you like " and you can keep your internet speeds. It's all untrue, if you like North Korea's internet then you should be for unlimited regulation. You people condemn control by rich corporations and celebrate slavery to an unelected bureaucracy . Highly inconsistent. If there is a problem let Congress make a law.
