  1. Mahyer explain how can there be Representative democracy when pre-1972 there was parliamentary sovereignty?. Also since the 22nd January 1972 Parliament "exchanged their full powers" to the EU as evidenced by the treaty of Rome and successive treaties hence why the concept of parliamentary sovereignty was diluted.
