  6.  @hydrawish8725  Taiwan has never been ruled by the PRC, and Taiwanese people are not Chinese. The only way that Taiwanese people were made to believe that they are Chinese is by the ROC (a colonial government in Taiwan) pushing a narrative from the 1950's mainland that has nothing to do with Taiwan's own history. Taiwan, and Taiwanese people, existed long before the ROC existed. Removing that propaganda from textbooks in Taiwan is a crucial step in truly understanding Taiwan's history beyond that of the genocidal history of the ROC. The only way out is this sort of truth, and from Taiwan to free itself from the ROC by declaring itself as the Republic of Taiwan. The CCP has threatened to kill Taiwanese people if that happens though, so that goal will take some time.

  13.  @goldmo2427  LOL, any democratic movement that goes against China is a "color revolution," apparently. Uyghurs want to get rid of CCP control because they are experiencing mass imprisonment and cultural genocide. These policies certainly benefit Han Chinese, but not Uyghurs.
