  1. Mosadegh was their only elected, democratic leader. He wanted to do everything right for Iran. However, the UK and the US wanted to share some of that oil Iran had, so he had to go. He was replaced by the Shah who turned out to be hated by his people , when he spent millions on a coronation, making himself the King of Kings. That pushed the people to the end. They got rid of him, but unfortunately they replaced him with radical clerics. That was a poor choice. Gaddafi was loved by most of his people. Small factions that were against him, came from the West, as a deterrent, as always. Qaddafi lost his life because he wanted gold for his oil instead of the US dollar. That was it. Saddam was a friend of the Bush people. He found out, they were traitors. He had rotten sons, but Iraq was better with him than they are now. History is a complicated mess.

Politics was not his thing. He belonged to the wrong tribe for Syria. There was always friction from the beginning. I expect he got a lot of money out of it. He likely got to take it with him. See his collection of Italian sports cars ? Would make Jay Leno loose his mind. They are for sale now......

  8. Well Zelensky appears nervous as this guy ( Jalani) appears confident and relaxed. He has a smooth voice and frankly, seems like a compassionate guy. I like him. I would let him drive my car. That is a woman's point of view. I do not follow any organized religion neither do I belong to any cult. I am a natural tree hugger, animal lover, spiritual person as people were, before they got controlled by deviant leaders, pushing one ideology or another. Never has worked. I think this new guy means well and it may really work out for Syria, if they let him, do it. We will see.

  9. After 9/11, the Pentagon found documents quoting, the Middle- East was being destabilized, as a goal. Al Qaeda surfaced after the 9/11 "issue" which we hear was funded by Soros. This guy now is in charge of the Rebels, who are supposedly fighting Isis and other factions, that have different agendas. Assad did not have a good reputation as horrors went on in his famous jails, enough to make you wonder. What the Hell ? Seems like Syria may end up divided in various segments, to go to the near-by neighbors, and in terms of Netanyahu, he should have been fired, a long time go . He is bringing Israel down , in a bad place.The old psychic who said WW3 started in the Middle-East, may have had a valid point. Not looking good. What motivates the US and Israel is always the potential financial benefits but never humanity.
