  1. I have 2 elderly neighbors who are veterans, very respectable people, whose daughter moved to NC. She is a middle aged, business woman with 3 girls in College. I went by my neighbors house , in the front and in the back as usually, they hang around the backyard, overlooking the lake, which is part of our subdivision. The house is a ghost town....no lights from inside ; nothing; no sign of life. I observed something I went back to look again on the front , by their mail box. There is the American flag ; superimposed to it, is the picture of their adorable little dog, blending into the flag. It stopped me in my tracks as the message is clear . The US went to the dogs. That is the silent message I got. I have no idea what has happened to their daughter but I expect something radical has, to make them, exhibit that message. It feels, desolate, sad and like a ghost town. What is happening to the country ? we have been hoodwinked.
