  1. Well, as tragic as it is, the child will die anyway. These operations are high risk and the kids usually don't survive that long, anyway. They are about to lose that poor kid, one way or another. I remember when we used to make Jehovah's witnesses parents, back off ( legally ) as they refused blood when their kids had cardiac surgeries. The government took over and blood was given if needed, without any fear of lawsuits. Parents are screwed right now, either way, it does not look good. Better postpone having any kids , until this mess is over.
