  1. Yes indeed. My son flew a Prowler and went to Desert Storm. They , years later, had a big party in Vegas when they retired that EA-6B. It was a good plane. Kept my son alive as well as his crew. I was very grateful.

  4. A Prowler had one pilot and 3 NCO's. I know as my son flew one. If they had to eject he would have been responsible for their ejection, before he could perform his own. I always worried about that as by then, they may just have run out of time. He is out of the NAVY now.

  5. If they ejected too late, their chutes would not have opened and they would have likely died , but it is hard to believe there is no GPS showing their location. . They did not find bodies in the wreckage so, they were not in there. Very difficult for the families to be told, the bodies have not been found.

  7. Injured people do not survive cold temperatures. I expect it is the case with them. They likely died of hypothermia.

  8. Does it mean, a hiker may find them hanging from a tree, strapped to their seat, and frozen ? Well, why is it not surprising ? we still have not found Malaysia MH370, after ten years. Some things, we have to accept. My heart goes to their families.

  9. Well, if they declare them dead, it is a bad sign. They assume, in the cold weather, if they were hurt in the ejection, they would have died of hypothermia. They are likely right, but it is hard to accept, the bodies cannot be found. It is very woody.....and now, there is snow.
