  1. Well, seems like she killed herself but could not drown her child. She left him, sitting there with an adult life vest on. He went to sleep , so we hear. She protected him to the end. So tragic.

  6. We can assume and come up with reasons why she would have taken her little kid, on a large boat, to be alone with him, just to go swimming. Makes no sense. Something here is wrong. The child is safe and that is great ! but, what was she thinking ?

  8. Seems like foul play but they will investigate and figure it out. No mother in her right mind leaves her 4 year old alone on a boat, unless she is " out of her mind ". That is possible, that she was "out of her mind". Would you go alone with a little kid, taking a boat that can hold many people ? No adult does that.

  9. That is the most sensible behavior that comes to mind. It may have been her intend, but she could not do it. I think you got it !!!!!! He even wore an adult size life preserver. She wanted to keep him safe and she knew, he would be found. Whoa.....she did it ! not natural to make yourself drown but it seems she had an intuition about dying under water. You got it !!!! I am sold on your version. It is exactly what she was doing. She saved her child ! What a real mom and so tragic. Her pain had to be so real......who does that ?

  15.  @sugarandspice2136  I do too, but it is not anything I have an emotional response to. It seems totally matter of fact. Let's hope this child can get past his experience and not be emotionally affected. I still have vivid memories when I was one and these were validated by people, but there is no emotion. Just a memory. I still have it and I am "ancient".
