  1. By the time he got out, she was likely drowned. Does not take long. I think he tried something.....and went home, knowing she was gone anyway, so he just wanted to hide and recover from the experience. Now, he would have been charged for manslaughter but it was then, with a famous person.......nothing there to see !

  3. Maybe she bumped her head . There were no seat belts then....it was a long fall into the water. I think the autopsy said she drowned v/s trauma so she was breathing the water, but I expect she was knocked out. She could have slipped out of the car and that water is dark. I expect if he did go down trying to find her, he could not. He may have been telling the truth.

So he would have strangled her, and pushed that car over the bridge while she sat in it ? theoretically he never would have been in the water ? interesting. It was a big old car. Would have been hard to push it ; unless he went down with it. Who does that ? a stunt man maybe ??????
